For a first time convention you could have not done a better job. Having only gone on Sunday I did not get to enjoy some of the sights the con had to offer, Sadly missing out on the Charles Band road show.

The vendor hall had everything from the most obscure movies and posters, to awesome art prints and shirts. Unfortunately, random chatter and conversations heard about the convention points to this being a one time deal here in Indiana then the convention will be moving to California to become its home base. I hope this is not the case because it was well organized and well received in my state.

I had really nice interactions with all the celebrities, who some (Mick Garris, Tim Bradstreet, Billy Drago, Mark Patton) were not charging for their autographs. A nice gesture on their part. Sadly Lori Cardille and Thomas Jane canceled out, but every convention always has to deal with that sort of thing. It's come to be expected I guess.

I ended up buying 12 art prints, an original evil dead 2 one sheet for $25 and an original prince of darkness one sheet for $25. Overall I spent roughly about $200 for 2 posters 12 prints, 2 autographs, and admission (which was only $20). Not too shabby.

A fabulous convention with awesome guests, great vendor room, relaxed atmosphere and a ton of fun.
Basically this was a cheaper horrorhound convention that packs the same amount of awesomeness for a lot less money. I hope they decide to come back to Indiana again next year.

As a side note, the only autographs I got were from Tom Savini and Tony Todd. 2 guys who have less than stellar reputations at horror conventions. But, I gotta say they both were really nice and seemed happy to chat and sign anything you wanted to sign. And if anyone out there has a chance to meet Tim Bradstreet, his sketchbook is the most amazing thing I have ever seen.
